I have been in document imaging since 1997. I started off developing in Visual Basic and eventualy moved over to .NET but at first just VB.NET (along with ASP.NET). I have now moved on to C#. When I did move I actually wondered why I didn't do it earlier.
I have always been interested in some sort of fabrication work and only heard about 3D printers a few months ago. It was then I knew I just had to have one. I bought myself a BFB Rapman printer about a month and half ago. As you all know it's a steep and fairly frustrating learning curve to get to the point where you can print with consistent good results. I'm still shying away from ABS though and prefer to use PLA due to being so much easier to get good results.
I have been collecting Hotwheel cars for a number of years now and have a fairly large collection. Sooner or later you will see some or other Hotwheels related stuff in my designs.
Tools I Use…
Printers: i3 MK2S
Design Programs: Solidworks, MeshLab, Thingiverse Customizer
