I am a Linux engineer by day.

November of 2009 I was laid off from my job at the University so I took my severance and some savings and bought a laser machine.

I have nothing to show for all my years of working in IT, everything we do in the virtual world is obsolete within a few years.

But with a laser machine I can actually create things that will last longer than me.
