For as long as I can remember, I've been picking things apart to see how they work, and sometimes I've even put them back together again. I've also always been fond of making things from various materials such as wood or acrylic. When I heard about 3DP, I knew I had to get in on that. Bought a DIY kit printer in 2014 to get a feel for everything that makes a printer do what it does and a year later I upgraded to a pre-built printer with more "bells and whistles" than my old one. Today, 3DP has influenced how I work and how I think about our producer-consumer society.
