I am a designer, researcher, and teacher. With my collaborative, SWEAT (http://www.sudor.net), I have made socially conscious videogames that have been exhibited internationally. At the University of Denver I teach in the Emergent Digital Practices and Game Development programs (http://www.du.edu/). I am an advisory board member of Games For Change, and of the International Digital Media & Arts Association. I am currently exploring a field that I'm calling "Critical Toys" that synthesizes the collaborative, free and open source sharing model of maker movements, with cultural commentary, and with joyful play.
