About WorkingHard

About me, My name is Erin, I live in L.A. and if you want to find out more, please visit my website. You can find it by looking up "whiteeyecreations" or by looking up "Zemondraya," or by looking up "The Quest for the Emerald Leaf." Thank you :)

Let me formally introduce you to Jack, The Pirate Lord of Trumpet Island, as he is the reason I am here. Jack is the main character in a Mini-Series I am working on called "Blood."
I was thrilled to find a service which I could commission to make me a toy of him in the beautiful Style you see in the picture and thus began my personal foray into 3D Printing and my desire to make toys myself. I am slowing but surely persisting along the path of 3D Artistry, and recently I have felt it might be a good idea to create an Exhibit of 3D ART at a local Museum here in Los Angeles, so I would be thrilled if you would like to participate. You don't have to send me anything in the mail. I can print your piece if you will allow, but I would like:

  1. At least 1 Model presented to me for me to Exhibit. Something "Easy to Print" would be best.

  2. A Short Summary of who you are as an artist formally written up, including your name and pertinent information about the piece.

  3. Allowance for me, if you are not going to print and mail it to me in Los Angeles for me to Print your piece. I would like to show 2 Versions side by-side and you may choose the Material. I would like to present a variety of materials, and the materials I would like to present are: ABS, PLA, FLEXIBLE, and WOOD, and possibly Metal, but I'm not sure about the metal yet... also if you are NOT going to send me one finished piece and one non-finished piece, allowance for me to make copies of my own, one finished, and one unfinished. (I will credit YOU with the Model Design, but if I end up finishing/printing one of the pieces I would like to say that the finished one I finished/painted.)

The Museum where I hope to Exhibit is CAFAM. (The Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles) I will let you know ticket prices, etc. if you would like to view the exhibit. Also I thought if I can get the right permissions, etc. I would like to show 3D Printing Tech. in Action along with the finished pieces. :) I will also probably like to bring in a 3D Printer, the one I own, and also if I am lucky enough to get the funds I need,, a filament maker/recycler. B/C recycling is cool!
