My name is Ethan Reggia. I work for EIT at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Every part I design is intended to be as printer-friendly as possible, and is specifically designed for the MakerBot Replicator 2, as that is the printer I use most frequently. I generally use 0.7mm or 1.4mm thin walls, test all tolerances, and design parts to print with no raft or supports in as short a time and with as little material as possible. If you have questions or comments, please post them, and I'll do my best to reply.
MakerBot Replicator 2 with a custom glass and aluminum build platform and an eight-slot overhead filament rack.
Glass BP washed and coated with Elmer's Disappearing Purple Washable School Glue before every print.
Standard settings unless specified otherwise (no raft or supports).
