Good news coming your way.
The time has finally come to roll out platform wide 3D Hubs integration on Thingiverse. Earlier you expressed your interest in having the 3D Hubs “Print Button” available for your designs and I’m happy to tell you it’s coming in the following days!
With this integration we'll be adding a Print Button across all qualifying Thingiverse designs, allowing you to be rewarded every time one of your designs is printed. Once customers are in the checkout process, there's a "designer's tip" functionality where users can 'tip' you for your work. As a designer you have full control over allowing customers to print their things on 3D Hubs and whether they want to require tips or not.
We just wanted to give you a heads up so you know this is finally happening! You can also follow updates and ask questions on here or over on our forum 3dhubs.com/Talk (the pinned post).
Hi everyone, With a few colleagues I started educational company focused on preparing for 3D Artist profession in 3D printing industry. We are doing courses in Europe. Could you be so nice and give a like on our Facebook page? https://www.facebook.com/be3dartist/?fref=ts
I get that Creative commons is sketchy anyway in regards to how binding it actually is. That being said, If I have a 3dhubs customer requesting I print something listed as non-commercial, is that generally accepted by the community as OK? I'm less concerned with legalities and more concerned about stepping on someone's toes
Dear 3D friends grin,
In april I will be launching a new platform and webshop in 1. The webshop will bring high-end design products (3D printed) to regular consumers. Beside that, we want to offer beginning/young designers a platform to sell their designs to the public. The designs need to be high end. Check my pinterest to have a feeling about the kind of products.
Are you a designer and are you interested? Please leave a comment and I will get in touch!!
It would be nice to add a vacation/ maintenance mode so that customers can see your hub and not think that you quit or something. I hate taking my printer offline because I know my returning customers might have to find a different hub because they cant see mine.
