New to homebrew :) New to group. Not new to 3d printing...
Im a wine kit brew guy so go easy haha.
Im just putting final tweaks to my syphon clip design. A part that was begging to be designed for a 3D printer.
I referenced china designs on aliexpress :-) Sorry Ali...
I have hose that is 7.5mm and another that is 11.5mm
I designed two sizes to fit. But Im quite sure its flexible enough for tubes near these (outer) dimensions. As I say, still tweaking and testing.
Attached a couple of pics.
As soon as im happy with model, ill upload it here.
My printer is decommissioned at the moment so my focus is getting it functional again, but once it is I plan on;
Printing a better mount for my wort chiller. It is currently bolted onto the side of my brewing stand, but I am afraid in its current state it will eventually rip through the stand's cheap sheetmetal.
I also want to print a cold air distributor for the tap tower on my kegerator. Currently a small fan blows air in the fridge part up the tower through a 1 inch diameter clear vinyl tube. The cold air makes the vinyl very inflexible and it tends to blow the air onto the side wall of the tower, freezing that spot and leaving the rest to heat up.
How has your 3d printer proved useful for your brewing and drinking activities?
Hey I want to apologize for the lack of things in this group right now, the only things right now are mine. So if you've designed some home-brew related things, add them! If you see things on Thingiverse that you'd like added to the group, ask the creator to join and add the thing!
This is a new group and growing is slow but we'll get there!
