Estes Rockets

I want to make some sugar rockets that can use Estes rocket motors as well as the motors I make, does anyone know the dimensions of the motors, specifically the larger and more powerful ones? Fin designs would also be helpful.

EDIT: I have decided on a trapezoidal fin design and an E or F motor

I'm wondering if there is a simple way to deploy a parachute without any ejection charge. I'm working on a Thrust Vectoring system, similar to BPS.space and a few designs here on Thingiverse. My system would not allow for an ejection charge, so I'm trying to brainstorm ideas for deployment. Servos? Pyro? What are your thoughts on this?

It's been a long time since I was flying rockets but when I was, I was looking for better ways to make the model rockets work. I was particularly interested in ways to deploy the parachute without using wading. Is anyone interested in finding alternatives?
