NEED HELP IN NYC!! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4249113
My wife works in a Brooklyn NYC Hospital as a Mid-Wife and I have been printing non stop here at home as I'm with the kids. The first 150 pcs have been sent in with her to distribute to the ER and ICU staff. They almost broke down in tears overjoyed! I'll keep going on my end here in Brooklyn, and word is getting out to other staff and local locations that do not have any straps provided to the yet.
Would anyone else print and send them directly or thru me? Please let me know
Its Ground Zero here and all have been going through hell at the hospitals
My college has three PLA printers, a resin printer, and a nylon powder printer. Does anyone know where I could/should send my prints? I'm willing to print and send to anywhere in the United States if someone gives me details.
Hi guys sorry to bother you guys,
But I have a quick question anyone know someone that owns a 3D printer? I am a tech and art teacher at Business and technology early college high school in queens. my students wanted to give back to our front liners. they came up with the idea of donating Ear savers, we have already sent out almost 250+ ears avers to Columbia hospital, Nyu, Elmhurst Hospital, and various other hospitals. But now we got two really large orders. New York Presbyterian ask for 150 and Metro hospital asked for 100 it’s a lot for one person.. after all i'm currently using a makerbot replicator so I was wondering if anyone knows somebody that is willing to help. we are going to do all we can to help our first responders ,but I unfortunately don’t think I can do that amount of volume on my own. if anyone can point me in the right direction it is much appreciated. be well and thanks in advance
you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Hello Makers, If you are near the Minneapolis area or surrounding suburbs in MN, then I wanted to direct your attention to a group making face shields. I drop off printed frames. Nordeast Makers members assemble, and then they distribute where needed.
Details are here: https://www.nordeastmakers.com/ppe
Their donation transparency is located here: https://www.nordeastmakers.com/donate
I am printing 3D mask straps with another individual at our schools. Anyone in the area that is looking for them, please let me know.
