MakerBot Print 2.7 allows for the creation and easy sharing of custom print modes.

MakerBot Print version 2.7 exposes more advanced slicer settings (35+ more settings!) to help you tune prints for different materials and draft printing. To expose these settings make sure you are connected to a printer that has an Experimental Extruder attached and that you have that printer selected. Experimental settings are tagged with an Experimental Extruder icon. This version of MakerBot Print also adds the ability to create custom print modes. To create a custom print mode select a default print mode, name your print mode and press the + button. Make any changes you would like and click "Save Print mode". Custom print modes can be exported and imported for easy sharing within the MakerBot Labs community. If a custom print mode contains Experimental Extruder settings it will also be badged with an Experimental Extruder Icon (screenshot attached). This is the profile for MakerBot Mini+ and MakerBot+, but I do believe this will also work for Z18. To use this profile you must also low the Z stage, by the Z calibration settings, manual calibration, to -0.4mm, if you are printing in layer resolution of 0.2mm. The result is preatty nite, faster prints without the raft creation, and less material expended.
Also, this profile is only recomeneded for parts with greater XY area than Z hight
hello group, I received my new replicator + today, commissioning ok, test print chain, very bad quality! My I3 Mega costs 1/10 and delivers much better quality!!!, unfortunately you can not use cura, only makerbot print, think the problem is the slicer software. the quality of the printer, it can not be, are there other options than the default print settings of makerbot print?? use self made print options? as in cura for my I3 Mega, the result is unacceptable for a printer of this price, unbelievable! Thank you
