We tested to print quite successfully PETG filament with the MakerBot Replicator Z18. For printing on the Replicator Z18 we used amongst other things the MakerBot Experimental Extruder with a 0.4mm standard Nozzle. The print mode here are to serve you as a starting point. We would be happy about further improvements.

this is the revisited setup using Monster PETG, we checked and it worked great.

I'm having trouble loading printmodes into makerbot print. They show up grayed out for some reason. Would you mind posting the settings that are changed for petg? Thank you!

Two reasons for that:

  1. It's a software issue. Sorry, I can't help you for that - but I hope the next update will fix this.
  2. The Experimental Extruder has to be attached and the software has to be conected with the printer...
