Hi there. If you are viewing this group, you probably have an interest in the various Mendelmax style printers, their care and feeding, and ways you can make them better. The origional mendelmax units are largely obsolete on the electronics field (12v vs 24v) as shipped, but with some upgrades, they can be made into a very robust and extremely accurate printing platform. My work tends to focus on the Lulzbot AO-100 and AO-101, which were the immidiate precursers to the Lulzbot Taz.
I would like to hear from anyone interested in these printers. What are you looking for in terms of upgrades to the base design? do you know of any really neat designs out there that should get more traffic? What parts are we missing if any to make this the best small build area printer on the planet?
