QidiPrint prints were better than Cura

I've been using Cura on Linux for a long time with my X-max. (The Ulitmaker modern version of Cura) It works. But yesterday I booted Windows and printed some things using QidiPrint. I used the same basic settings for temperature, layer height, infill. The QidiPrint prints were noticeably better, especially the supports and first layer.

Not sure how I can replicate that in Cura. Copy every single setting over by hand I guess. Any ideas? thx

I stopped using Cura a long time ago because it has inferior route planning and optimizations. With version 4 everything got worse. Things like gap fill, travel, and wall quality all looked terrible.
I first switched to Prusa Slicer, then the Super Slicer fork variant.

Good to know on both counts. I would use the Qidi version but its just too simple. I will have to try Super Slicer maybe it will speed up some of these prints with large travels
