I have drawn a part with a length of 179 mm and sliced it in the makerbot program.
In the program the part is on 100% size and is 179 mm.
After slicing and printing the part is 177 mm. Can I calibrate this?
Are the other dimensions of the part shorter than they should be after slicing? I remember having a similar issue in the past when I used Makerware. I played around with the scale until the sliced part was the right size.
Thank you for the reply.
I have done some research on the internet and have also found a solution.
The number of steps per mm is shown in the ini file of the printer. If you adjust the number of steps per mm "after some calculations" you do not have to work with the scale of the printer and immediately print the correct size.
