I'm searching for German Robox Users nearby Stuttgart. I was a huge fan of the idea of the Robox since the Kickstarter campaign but I'm leaving the platform and I would like to sell my Robox (Limited Kickstarter Edition + full Dual Material upgrade installed and serviced by CEL) for a really good price.
Of course I don't want to have unnecessary shipping costs so I'm located nearby Stuttgart and would be happy if someone is interested.
I've been thinking a lot about additive manufacturing as I'm an engineer in the titanium production and manufacturing industry. Spent a lot of time thinking about it on a large scale using electronbeams and powder. Somehow I've overlooked this great little machine and the capabilities of these desktop printers all this time. Got my Robox a few days ago. After a very frustrating setup, I'm full blown geeked out on it now. Love it, and the idea that I can print my ideas. First print was about an hour, now I'm 22hrs into my 38hr 2nd print. Go big or go home eh?
I just wanted to pop in here and see if there are any hard lessons someone else has already learned with these printers. Usually when I jump into something this quickly without a ton of research, I end up hearing a lot of "oh man, you shouldn't have done that". It was just so easy to get it up and printing, I couldn't stop myself. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
Anyhow, nice to meet you all.
