How hard would it be to take a design and make it 3D printable?
Hi guys, I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to print, assemble and sell wheels that I've designed to you guys and others. The wheels would sell for the cost of parts, materials, time and S&H. I would plan to use TPU for the grips to give a rubbery feel and more grip. Also, if people wanted add or change parts then that could be added.
Would love to hear what you guys think.
Here would be the first wheel I'd sell: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3793786
Hello everyone. Right now I'm under "production" of fully 3d printed replica of Porsche 911 GT3 R Steering wheel.
But i have doubt, Im not 100% sure it actually survive beating from me and 300rs wheel base. what you recon it is some way to reinforcement it?
till now i had to stop everything and wait for parts to come, as buttonplate will be connected with paddles that i have to redesing. Part of models come from Assetto corsa.
I drop photo and SLT files with converted parts. TBH i kinda regret i print them straight away without asking here lol. I hope wont be necessary to reprint it lol.
Hey guys, let's see what sim you like and why.
Disclaimer: no wars, be respectful, just talking.
Personally i use iRacing, because i'm a big fan of laserscan tracks, and i like detail i feel when i drive on the tracks. Plus, i like their series system, so you can plan your races and find some good competition.
