Hi Texas Maker, I'd love to know who you are and what you're creating! We can make amazing things happen just by talking and collaborating with each other, and it'd be great to have you on the team! In the future it'd be fantastic to have a map on which group members can find local Makers with similar interests. I'm not sure just how to do that yet, so let me know if you can help us get one together.
You can find us also on Facebook in the Courage and Creation group. We're a small knowledge network of around 500 members, and we're working on everything from launching 3D printing ventures to tech incubators to Tiny House communities built with solar power, rainwater collection, and Aquaponic gardens! https://www.facebook.com/groups/766833736687421
We can build anything we put our minds to, so let's shape Texas into The State That We Create!
Let's see what Texas innovators are made of. Actually, let's see what Texas innovators have MADE. Post your creations to the group in the "Things" section ^ above ^ and show us what you're bringing to life, then come back to this thread and tell us any background or information you'd like us to know about your design. I'd love to see what we can do.
Down around San Antone as the song says, we have gotten dis/re/organized into a few maker-minded people who are meeting on Friday nights at 7pm central time to discuss projects and just chew the fat. Our goal is to grow into a virtual makerspace but right now we are just meeting on skype. Contact me at "facebook:thingsofrings" (that's my skype name, it originated from facebook and i used to make chainmaille, hence the funny name. I'll add you to the list and maybe give you the alternate contact point in case i'm out of it for some reason. Anyway, join in on the fun!
