I'm a programmer/wanna-be inventor. I used to do a bit of woodworking, and I did some 3d graphics as well, so when I heard about 3d printing, I was hooked. Since then it's been my new hobby. I love to design things. I've built all kinds of stuff with the printer, but most were specific to things I was doing around the house (which includes parts for furniture, some mounts for raspberry pis etc.). I've posted a few designs on thingiverse. I recently posted a design for a Cold Hold, which hasn't gained a lot of traction on thingiverse, but is still my favorite design. If you're reading this, please check it out.
I'm on my second printer -- my first being a BFB Rapman, which was quite good at the time, but the threaded rods warped (badly), the bed wore out, one of the extruders failed, and so I've since upgraded to a Craftbot. I'm down to around 1 in 20 failure rate, as opposed to a 1 in 3 from the Rapman, and it prints a lot smoother, so I'm quite happy with it. Anyways, I'm working on several new things, and hopefully, I'll have more to post on thingiverse shortly.
