Lizz grew up in the Pacific Northwest where she spent her days learning, crafting, designing and making. Her long time love of textiles and sewing led her to New York where she pursued an education in Textile Development and Marketing and Accessories Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
For the past She currently overseas a team of 3D modelers, specializing in the technical design and 3D modeling/printing of hardware and jewelry for the Tapestry, Inc. brands (Coach, Stuart Weitzman and Kate Spade.)
In her spare time, Lizz works on her personal line of jewelry which is manufactured exclusively by utilizing 3D printing technology. She sells her work through her Shapeways hosted site, Toolry.
Lizz has participated in numerous panel discussions and has given talks for 3D printing companies, education and women's organizations and is available to speak on panels or give custom presentations around the following topics; 3D printing and the iterative design process, 3D printing in fashion and the growth of 3D technology and consumerism.
