Having just recently (summer 2017) joined the 3D-printing scene, I'm working my way up the learning curve. This endeavour has dual purpose; to learn/master the mechanics and to find out if I will have actual use for such a gizmo. Will it make a difference in my life and will the cost incurred (money, time, knowledge) be worthwhile?
So far, it's fun. But I'm still not fully accustomed to having the option to 3D-print and sometimes forget to take that into account when approaching a fix-it-scenario. I am, however, getting better at remembering this as time passes.
