the tread is wrong it need to be turned around. it makes a huge difference! tested by myself and my son. we have several types this is really sand dune tire but works great in snow. i am working on a 2wd version rear and skis in front. so the wheels need to be much wider and taller to push the truggy.
Well and probable will work even better if you turned the wheel the other way so the tread gets maximum grip. Anyway I think the original designer ment to have the thread the other way, maybe I'm wrong. And if the grip is enough this way, thats fine ;-)
I understand the way you are saying, it's right at low speed if you want tork.
But at high speed on the snow or on the sand we must evacuate the snow/sand if you want to go faster.
It's like the evacuation of water on the tire of real cars
Anyway i will reverse them to test if i see some difference !
The way I see it you would want to evacuate water to get traction on the ground underneath. But on sand and snow it is definitely NOT what you want to do, you want it to compact under the tire so you don't dig in. Should accomplish that by reversing the tires.
Looks awesome if you're planning on driving in reverse! :)
