I'm suspecting the same thing - I've using the setting of 230 degrees for PLA (recommended by manufacturer - Sunhokey and the filament they provided) but I'm starting to think I could lower this a bit with at least 10-15 degrees. As for extruding, I know for sure that I must adjust the retraction setting a bit more (maybe also the extrusion factor which I've set to 110%).. Anyway, thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts with me! Alex.
I use 210°C for PLA and an extrusion multiplier of 0.75, so your settings seem way too high to me! The recommended temperature range for PLA is 190-210 °C.
The best thing to do is a series of small test prints.
Looks like your printer may be a little too hot or over extruding.
