I loved that way that beauty moves since day one!!!! So i decided to make one since the only thing i would have to buy except printed parts, screws, belts, arduinos and ramps which i already have stocked... were the 8mm rods!!! Maybe the first build with lowest budget even 21 euros for 6 meters of inox rods!!!
I used 8mm mdf for the top/bottom/side supports, oversized the build in height with 1 meter rods, which leaves an effective 603mm print height clearance, maybe a little more when i put the j-head on :))
Anyways the build was actually easy, i paid attention on the precise cutting sizes of plywood, holes etc, to fit the exact given dimension of the prototype. I'll be using a 214x214 pcb heatbed with glass on top, j-head v.6 and still undecided in the extruder i'll use for this babe.
