Walkera Runner 250 advanced GPS model with custom full axis head tracking gimbal drone.
will you please give me some tips to 3D print it?. Thanks.
I used the micro-structures model. And used an Autodesk Ember.
The Ember has a very nice ability to make these shapes which interest me for the purpose you see here. The design lends to be used as a an absorber.
I bonded small flat plastic plates to the bottom of the drone. And then used silicone on the bottom of the plates to bond the micro-structure. I found that the silicone had a more forgiving attachment point to the plastic pads. The pads disburse the weight evenly to allow the micro-structure to absorb evenly.. Just remember to allow the silicone to dry. Once complete is ok to dust a little plastic coat on them to seal the SLA material a little.
Those that know the Walkera this one saves the board and alot of other parts.. And gives room for the full 3 axis head tracking camera... Fly safe and print dangerously... :)
