My reworked version of the Stormtrooper LED light with a Euro plug so the nightlight can be directly plugged into a wall socket without the need for an external power supply. The nightlight is equipped with six WS2812b RGB LEDs. These allow some nice lighting effects controlled by an Arduino micro pro. The nightlight has two touch sensor switches on the right-hand side that are used to adjust the brightness and change modes, colors and other stuff. When plugged into a socket the inbuild pizeo buzzer plays the first couple of notes from the Imperial March. Yikes!
Detailed instructions can be found in this article Stormtrooper Nightlight with Arduino controlled LED light effects.
All parts were printed with an Ultimaker 2+, 0.16 layer height, 0.8 wall thickness. The transparent PLA is from innofil3D. The black PLA from REC.
You can see the nightlight in action in this Stormtrooper Nightlight video on YouTube.
