Yes, this is printed in "bronze" filament. It's barely bronze, but hey, it definitely looks good! The way I have lighting set up for photographing 3d prints definitely makes things look shinier than they really are, so it looks a little bit better in the photos than in real life.
I added in my logo on the shield because I thought it would look cool, and I highlighted the outline with sharpie, the letters with black paint, and the eye with white paint. Given my lack of experience in painting, I think it turned out pretty good.
This was printed on my large-scale FT-5 3d printer, and I was tempted to scale this up massively, but I only went ~1.2 times normal size because of material cost and practicality. I actually filled it with salt within the infill in order to increase the weight without wasting any plastic.
0.5mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height. No shining was done on the final print, only small amounts of painting.
