Just the ticket to print soft plastics and some of the more exotic stuff my bowden setup couldn't handle (copperfill, carbon fiber.. etc).. Great design, simple install... works like a champ!
I also went for the same setting, and i just have to add the bed level sensor.
I was wondering if there is a huge difference between a BLTouch and the 3DTouch of geeetech?
Geeeteck's one are in promo right now, that's why I'm asking you if you knows something about those one's.https://www.geeetech.com/geeetech-3dtouch-auto-bed-leveling-sensor-for-3d-printer-p-1010.html?zenid=6ap00d6efaii8fb3msippgugd3
Looking at the manual for the 3DTouch, it looks to be an exact clone of the BLTouch (its even packaged like the BLTouch). They don't list any dimensions so its hard to say... but it seems like a cheaper option.
Umm.. On 2nd thought, you may want to read what people are saying about it on the Geeetech Forums. The 3DTouch seems to have some issues.https://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=18263&start=120
Thanks a lot man. Once again you've been very helpful!
I'll go for a BL touch.Tks for your time. I'll soon share my made mentioning your help.
No prob.. The new Marlin 1.1 RC8 firmware makes it super easy to get the BLTouch working. If you have any problems getting it setup let me know and i'll post my config.h
I succeded to configure it by myself :D
Thank you for pointing me out the Marlin v1.1 RC8 otherwise i would still use the old firmware and fighting with IDE v1.6.0
Now everything works great. Thanks a lot for your advices!
Great!!!! I'll let you know.
Out of curiosity, exept the auto-leveling settings, did you change anything else from the spauda's config.h?
With the Titan Extruder you'll need to change your Extruder Steps Per Unit.. Its 418.5 (if your stepper is 200 steps/rev) or 837 (stepper is 400 steps/rev).. 99% sure you'll want to use 418.5.
Also, the Configuration.H in Marlin 1.1 is different than in 1.02. You can't copy/past from the old firmware.
yep I already change the E-step (837 for me) and bed size values.(BTW I've been amased how titan extruder is accurate). I was wondering if you changed acc or jerk values. Thanks again dude.
