Description
Thanks for this design! I had to rotate the top brace in my slicer so that it would print in a stronger orientation, but the supports were kind of painful to remove. But it all went together well!
Edit: Added a photo showing how off-square my towers were. They were leaning towards the back of the printer, so I used these rods to push the whole thing forward.
Looks great. What plastic?
The ol' reliable: Hobby King white PLA, nozzle temp 200 °C, bed temp 50 °C, on top of blue tape. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/pla-3d-printer-filament-white.html?___store=en_us
Briefly considered doing it in PETG, but it's probably smarter to take advantage of PLA's stiffness.
Yeah, I considered PETG, but went with ABS in the end.
