I used steel tubes because I changed the length to 1,2m x 0,8m but I don´t think about the weight on my Z- Axis where I changed the tubes too. So I put my poti on z a little bit too high so the motor doesn't skip steps. But this machine is the best thing on this site you can do with a 3D Printer. A big thanks to Allted/Vicious1 for all these affordable and well descripted stuff. Right now im assembling the cheap 2,8 W 100 $ Laser Upgrade and celebrating like a child. Some small parts were printed on my Thing-o-matic while the rest was printed with my Anet so I could finish the printing parts in 5 Days (But after printing I realized the parts from Allted are not so expensive for 160$ even with EU taxes in relation to the time).
I use Estlcam (which fits perfect to me as a milling newbie) on my Ramps 1.4 and Arduino mega 2680 That I bought from Vicious1.com fully assembled.
The Table is an old Euro palett where I could fit 2 drawers.
Total cost was 750 Euro
