Here's the first print of the model, next to the original figurine from which the design was captured using Autodesk 123D Catch.
Printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2 and green PLA filament, on standard settings. The model was enlarged to a base diameter of 30mm. I will print a larger, higher resolution version when I get chance.
Things I learned from this: Take more photos for 123D Catch to stitch more accurately, use manual points for even more accuracy, take photos underneath the object if possible, place a second item of known dimensions for scale, adjust printer for better continuous feeding, set a higher resolution for small objects.
