This took a little over 6 hours on a MaxBot. Very nice outcome.
Nice! What will you be using it for?
I'm going to use it for a Cat Feeder. it turned out though (hah - no pun intended) that I had to do it with only only blade and not two, as shown, so I have to do another one when I get the time. I will post more pictures and a link to a project page when I get around to completing it :)
Ah, I see. Do you have any videos of it jamming on the test food?
I'd bet it's due to the pitch of the blades. Removing one would halve the pitch; if you need to decrease it more then decrease the 'turns'. Not that I have experience with this directly, but it's my understanding that the gap between adjacent "teeth" along the axis of the auger should be at least 150% the size of what you're trying to move.
You may also want to experiment with the diameter of the auger compared to the tube it's positioned in though I'm not positive on this one.
Can't wait until it's finished - if you remember, message me so I can take a look at it :)
Huhr. I forgot I actually already did put some info out on it.. https://labitat.dk/wiki/Cat_Feederhttps://labitat.dk/wiki/Cat_Fe...
