Dear Creater (PK)
Thank you very much for this. I wanted to print your version 1.3 (MyBox1.3) for a while but it was lacking some branding ;)
I wanted to have the Snapmaker logo on it. For this, I found and used a nice Display Mount https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2763252 by Michael Paschek (royaljelly).
Using MeshMixer, I cut the logo and attempted to paste it onto the Snapmaker Accessories Storage Box. I managed to move the 4 triangles (surfaces) on the right hand backwards and put my new logo on this location. But then struggled to get the Boolean Union to work. As indicated by Maker's Muse "Stitching meshes together using Meshmixer - 3D Printing 101" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAqWkN85ZLo&t=337s I increased the number of triangles.
However, doing this resulted in Meshmaker having problems with the Boolean Union. Some of the adjoining surfaces broke and resulted in Non-Manifold Edges. I struggled for hours with Meshmixer (great tool). In the Maker's Muse video, Angus mentioned that Netfabb Cloud Service doesn't stitch in the free version (this changed from 2016 and it does stitch). Thus, I kept on trying MeshMixer. I eventually decided that I will subscribe to Netfabb just to get my two STLs stiched/unioned. I found out that the free version of Netfabb could stitch and were very happy with my results.
I used Simplify3D and sliced it to print on my Snapmaker. The GCODE is also included for those wishing to print the same on a Snapmaker.
