This is Mackedusan's revised rat trap printed at 80% scale in red PLA filament.
I plan to revise this post if/when it catches the intended critter(s) that is vandalizing my shed.
Not all parts required a raft. I found that the "Pin" and "Trigger" would print best with a raft due to their size and/or print orientation.
"Body" and "Trigger" will require supports. Just be sure to cancel the supports in the "Body" where the "Pin" gets inserted, otherwise you may have a difficult time removing them. They aren't required at that spot anyway.
The "Choker" required a very minimal amount of sanding for it to fit and slide smoothly in the "Body" of the trap.
Be sure to print the "Trigger" in a vertical orientation. If you try to print it horizontally (flat) the layer lines will be in the wrong orientation and subsequently fail.
I had to glue the "Plate" onto the "Bolt" backwards because the Bolt shaft was not long enough to fully engage the plate. My recommendation is to redesign the bolt and plate part so that they are a 'shaft in shaft' press fit design.
