Tree supports worked out great on this test print. Printing full size skull now.
I've seen other prints that didn't use supports, and you can see the teeth and cheekbones suffer for it. Some print, but they looked poorly bridged to me. The tree support made the full sized skull smooth and crisp. Plus I used absolutely no infill. One word of warning, the bottom of the eye sockets inside the skull will not be supported, no matter what degree of overhang support you choose in Cura. So be absolutely sure your retractions are up to snuff, otherwise you could ruin the finish of the lower eye sockets. Once it attaches to the rest of the skull, it's pretty smooth from there on out.
