One of my quickest discovery-to-prints ever! I couldn't wait to try to print one of these guys. Crazy cool sculpt.
I scaled it up to about 120% to give my FDM printer more of a chance at getting all the insane details. I lowered the pumpkin a couple millimeters so it'd sit nice and flat without needing any supports. Easy print, just took it a little slow to get the details. I printed in orange PLA and painted the face and stem with cheap acrylics. I really wanted to work on it so I didn't do any priming or sanding, just hoped for the best with painting raw PLA. There's some rough parts but for the most part the Ender 3 performed amazingly. Painted the face yellow and added a few washes of orange and then clear coated it to get that freshly carved, fleshy pumpkin look. The stem was just painted brown and a couple quick sessions of dry brushing with a lighter brown. It doesn't really need much work at all to look great!
