SUP hydrofoil wing

Description
Slightly scaled up so that the full diagonal of the Prusa MK2 bed is used.
Final dimension is 700 x 276mm projected surface 1500cm2.
I printed hollow and filled up the void. foaming epoxy on the wing sides and a milled carbon fiber epoxy mix onto the mid section.
Lay up is 4 x 200GSM each sides
The finished wing is 1.5kg.
Update 28/03/19: works great! a lot of lift and with excellent control, not the fastest ride due to the 1500cm^2 but certainly one of the most comfortable. Perfect for windfoiling on waves.
Great Job! How did you fill the core? With what?

I have to ask how you got the leading edge so pretty and sealed? I'm struggling to get my head around how to either do a wrap around there, or do a sealed sandwich approach (as it seems you did). With the latter, I'm not sure how to ensure I work down the edges without going through to the core, causing potential delamination issues, causing a weird profile...or just being plain ugly ;) I could really use your input if you have a sec.
I filled up the core in my case so there is no need to overlap the leading edge since the wing cannot split in half anymore. and it is a lot easier to laminate and keep the profile right that way.
I vacuumed 3 layers on both sides in one go then faired the profile and then added a last layer on each sides, it came out pretty good but not perfect.
the best I think is to laminate no more than 2 layers in one go,
use the bag and your release material to try to reasonably align the seam before it cure, it will help with sanding it.
Do not use kevelar fabric as it is a pain to wok with, I knew it but that was all I had left!
Would you mind sharing the stabilizer file? Looks awesome!
Thanks, I wish I could but the stab is actually re-used broken Starboard 330 tail wing which I made the area slightly bigger.
Impressive! :)
i need tu edit it to fit my fuselage but i dont have fusion 360 :( does its possible to upload files to be edited with autodesk inverter?
I don't have any of those soft, just use the STEP files, i think any software will read it just fine.
amazing!
does it work?
I haven't made the fuselage yet but I am sure it will fly.
