Words to live by! Nothing could possibly sum up my first week with my first printer better.
Fittingly, throughout this print there were failures:
- Got curious to see if my extruder was digging too deep, pulled the Bowden tube off without realizing it wouldn't feed without it attached. 2nd layer sparseness, next level. First strike. Paused, retracted, attached, and primed - okay.
- Next layer up and the extruder got all ornery, literally eating through the entire strand, cutting it in half and jamming up. Meanwhile the void is stacking up below. Pulled through, trimmed, reloaded - okay.
- Pausing to change the filament (by adjusting the mix and priming) - didn't prime enough. RED SPARENESS NOW, COME ON!
Love the way it turned out though and as in every print thus far: knowledge came.
