Turned the battery cover into a design element, and made custom name pendants. Names were raster etched on the front, and a hatch pattern was vector-etched on the back.
Slight modifications to the ingenious battery chamber: angled the slot for the anode lead, to make it easier to bend into place; added an angled slot on the top of the chamber so the cathode lead would have somewhere to go.
Replaced CR2025 battery with CR2032 size by adding some depth: etched away some material from the back-inside battery cover.
Using plywood instead of acrylic for battery covers allowed for less material around the screws. Decreasing the screw hole diameter on the main acrylic body keeps the screws from falling out during battery changes.
