Comparison of detail and printability sans auto support between Up! Mini (2012 first gen printer) and Monoprice Delta Mini (2018 first gen printer). Delta v. Cartesian, PLA vs. ABS.
Each printed the Medieval Castle model by boldmachines (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:862724), .2606 scale, .125mm layer height (Delta), .15mm layer height (Up!), 30-40mm/s speed, 100% solid.
Delta: Used PLA. lots of strings despite retraction settings, though model is very detailed. Heavy.
Up!: Used ABS. The smaller printed components (ex. turrets) are brittle, though model is just as, if not more, detailed. Light.
But only one glows...
