Actually, I think we might be using both... Towers connected to walls. At each end of the walls, a small hollow rectangle is printed, which contains the loose filament bits you see in your video...
We're just using default settings in the latest MakerWare, so as much as we'd like to take credit for our print quality, we really can't! (But thanks anyways!)

You mean the purge walls, right? We did have those going. Did a pretty good job of catching the bits of plastic!

wall looks sturdier, and the real slowdown it the head switching, you would get that tower or wall.
