MY version of the rc boat. as seen without electronics is 1779 grams or 3.9lbs I will be using SCI grip acrylic glue to put it together. This glue should turn out to be the best kept secret on the internet to glue pla filaments.
I'm adding some scoops for air cooling if needed. i will put them on for show and drill out later if needed.
I added my notes for computing the power consumption for this boat; 150-200 watts per pound for the motor needed.and i'm figuring an all up weight of 5lbs for the final after bondo, paint glue, ect...... so 750 watt motor is equal to one horse power and 820 to 1000 watt motor is needed.
So Sergey did a pretty good job hitting the mark on electronics. I may opt for aluminum strut and rudder gear for this boat.
I have no idea on prop need so and inline amp meter and different props to get the final drive right. i can see this boat running with the big boys in time. I'm estimating 250 dollars for a finished build.
Prop I used is a 37mm 1.7 pitch 4 mm shaft. All up weight is 6.2 lbs. runs very smooth.
the hull parts took 15hrs give or take each part. 4 shells 3 top and bottom 210c and 55c nozzle and bed .4 nozzle dia.
sorry for not referencing the other makers for there parts (hood scoop and carb scoops to spitfire)
