Students from Design 11: Animation & Multimedia made characters, rigged them, textured them, and then animated them in a fully lit and textured scene using Blender.

They also were tasked with posing their character for print.

I wanted to start designing these for my kinds as the ones sold in store are cheap but limited on color options. This is still a work in progress but should function, there are things I am already going to address to improve this. It is flexible between the top section, there is also a small bridge there but it shouldn't be a problem. I printed this in abs as I do all my print.

This is a remix of the marvelous Easter Egg Dispenser Bunny - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2231030 - with a twist! It has been customized with text, using any available OpenSCAD font (listed under the OpenSCAD Help menu)!

You will need your own copy of the Easter Egg Dispenser Bunny, so that you can add your custom text. Be warned, if you use a lot of text - the "rendering" time can get a bit long...

If you use OpenSCAD, you can customize to your hearts content. All you need is the .scad file that is part of this thing, along with a copy of SurfaceWrite (currently version 014) - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2379460/#files (SurfaceWrite_014.scad). This should be used as an "include" file ex: include

The "bunny(.scad)" file, is the only file you need to edit, to customize things.

I tried to use the bunny head to write on, but kept running into errors of some kind, where OpenSCAD and the bunny just won't get along. Please feel free to try, and let me know if it works for you!

I was going to print Ducky the Lop Eared Bunny for my kid, but when I saw how big it was, I decided it would make a good piggy bank. So I pulled it into Meshmixer and hollowed it out. And like all good piggy banks, there is no way to get the coins out without breaking it. My little boy loves putting coins in it. When and if he ever fills it up, I plan to take a hole saw to the bottom.

The coin slot is 30mm because that easily fits all American coins that I had on hand. It should work for most foreign coins, but I do not know if anyone uses a bigger coin than that.

I print in PLA because my printer is in a family area. On my ANET A8 this was a 56 hour print. Inland Yellow 1.75mm PLA. .1mm layer, .4mm nozzle, 200deg, 5% infill, and yes you will need supports because of the chin and the right ear.

Confession: Some little boy clicked the power strip off during print, so I actually printed in two parts and glued them together. That same little boy thought the headless half print was the greatest thing ever, so Daddy had to measure and fix it after a little boy went to bed.

To nail these sharp edges, I recommend a very small layer height (hence the "time to print" specified).

I designed this Bunny Fidget Spinner to work in smaller, kid sized hands. Works for adults too!

This requires 608ZZ bearings.

The bearing covers also have a small lip to prevent the covers from accidentally touching the bearing and slowing it down. You can squeeze these covers firmly without deforming them and slowing the bearings.

Everyone knows the Standford Bunny. I printed it with voronoi pattern an then I thought it would be nice to have some baby bunnies for Easter...
I print the big one about 10 cm and the baby bunny about 5 cm tall.

This is a remix I modeled by subtracting out rweaving's molds, adding some walls, and giving the walls a slight draft outward. I intend to use it to create silicone molds which will hopefully be a little more cleanable than plastic parts. Since I have yet to try it, this is still a work in progress.

I made the original chocolate bunny and it worked very well.

EDIT: I added a low volume variation (two more STL files) in hopes of minimizing the amount of silicone needed.

I created a simple bunny. It doesn't Need any support structure.

I designed that scary skeleton bunny. It was originally a project for my Youtube-Channel. I will show you there how you can prepare it for laser preparation. On this platform i share the Adobe Illustrator file, the RDWorks project and the exported .jpg as a starting point for creative work with it. (Plotting?, Printing?)

A base for easter eggs. This was modelled for medium european eggs, you may have to scale it to fit your eggs. It tried to keep it shallow, so the egg is more visible.

The Easter Egg Dispenser Bunny is a fun and decorative easy-to-print design for use over the Easter season. The Bunny features a 'flip-top' head so you can load mini chocolate Easter Eggs into an internal channel that runs around the back and out the bottom at the front. A 'stop' is designed in at the bottom to hold the Easter Eggs from rolling straight through so they can be 'dispensed' one at a time. When the presented Easter Egg is removed the rest shuffle down the internal channel so the next is ready to be dispensed...

At standard scale he dispenser measures 150mm x 105mmx 35mm and will take mini chocolate Easter Eggs measuring up to 28mm x 22mm (The channel at standard size measures 30mm x 23.5mm allowing 1.5 to 2mm rolling clearance). If you have a large enough build plate the design can be scaled up uniformly to accept larger Easter Eggs. TIP: Please measure the Easter Eggs to be dispensed 'before' printing to ensure they will roll freely in the internal channel. If not, scale up to suit (Calculate the increase required including allowing for rolling clearance).

Make sure you roll your Easter Eggs in sideways so they roll through the internal channel. You may need to hold the first egg in (bottom egg) during loading otherwise following eggs being loaded may have enough momentum to knock the previously loaded eggs out (i.e. dispense them all at once).

Before loading your Easter Eggs check the internal channel is free of print debris and as smooth as possible so the Easter Eggs inside can roll down with the minimum possible resistance. A well printed dispenser should have no/very few printing imperfections affecting the channel... but if you have some cut them away or sand smooth.

Removing / dispensing Easter Eggs is easy... just gently remove the available egg. The remaining eggs inside will move down a space. Please note that removing eggs slowly / gently will ensure the remaining eggs inside cannot gain enough momentum to roll down and jump the retaining ridge / stop at the end of the channel (i.e. The retaining ridge could have been made bigger / taller but this makes the eggs harder to remove... so it is a trade-off between easy to remove eggs and eggs being well held in place).

This is purely a fun Easter thing. It has been designed to be an easy one piece print with two components. The clearances applied are intentionally loose so it should print well regardless of the slicing app or machine used (as not all slicing apps or machines produce the same results).

The notch at the front side of the joint is purely for alignment purposes to help ensure the head sits straight in its lowered position.

2-PART VERSION: Lots of people with machines with small build plates asked for a way to print this design. For this reason two additional .stl's have been provided which allow the body and head to be printed separately then slotted together so the bunnies head flips open/closed as usual. Please download the 2part - A/B stl's for this requirement. Please also note that this version has not been test printed... but it should be fine as this is a minor revision to the original one-piece version which prints well every time.

Great fun...print in you choice of color/s and make sure you have plenty mini Easter Eggs on hand. The hard part is keeping the Easter Egg Dispenser Bunny stocked with eggs!

I designed this mold to make concrete/gypsum bunnies, but you can use it for chocolate bunnies too.

There is a M5 screw version also to make it easier to fix them together.

You need 4 piece of M5x30 bolt and nut.
