Helping Hands Operator - Automatic Soldering Tool by Yuval Dascalu

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf_CHN6EXmc

This is my official entry for the Chip-E Remix Challenge.
For this challenge I made a device which uses almost all of the original components and uses to some degree with added files.

The device connects to your arm and contains 3 motors, a display and the Geekduino / Arduino Uno.

This device is intended to be used in situations in which you cannot use the typical Helping Hands like when not faced with a proper table or when you need you work high up or near the ground, as had happen to me time over time the last year.

Now I do understand it isn't really a remix of the body of the Chip-E, but after consulting with RobotGeek they wrote to me that "If you feel inspired to use the parts in the Chip-E Kit toward another style of robot or machine, feel free to throw it in the competition, we'd love to see it! As much as we would like for people to modify Chip-E as a walking/dancing/goofin robot, we're well aware that the RobotGeek parts included in the kit are quite versatile and could be configured into entirely different machines.".
I based my design with that in mind.

All parts may need to be scaled up by x10
All the parts in the following pictures that are Purple are 3D printed
Code: https://pastebin.com/sF8TZsJ2
All electronics parts are sold at the following link: https://goo.gl/oy1N6q

Hello!

I made this Fidget toy for anyone who might enjoy it.
There are 3 versions of this toy, personally, I prefer the one with the smooth bumps as shown in the thumbnail.

After you have all 3 parts you can use a vice or any other way that comes to mind to press the parts together, no glue needed!

For a single toy you need two (2) of the Buttons I uploaded.
You might want to follow the instructions from the video I added by RimstarOrg on Youtube for the center Bearing.
You need three (3) 608 bearings of any quality.

Hello!

Before we start I'd like to tell you a little about myself, I'm a 16 years old student from Israel playing for the local robotics FRC team as the head CAD department. I mostly design random contraptions of things that sound impossible and slowly make them work; for this project I have a literal shame-can with about 50 broken, too tight, too large, too stiff, too small, cut inducing or generally failed prototypes but I wanted to get it just right and did not have a lot of time to do so.

And oh boy, am I exited for this one!
I made these designs originally for the MakerEd Challenge 2.0 with about 80% of the work done in the AM's.
The idea for this project is from every day observations in my school. I see my Math teacher struggling to draw a shape that is even close to a circle for Geometry lessons. I see my Robotics teacher barely able to dash over sketches on the board without leaning the whole arm (with a simple modification the same Dasher and do many types of lines, but Math teachers barely need center-lines or Mirror-lines). And I can see my fellow students (including myself) unable to copy Geometry assignments from our book to our notebook, and also my teachers planning the next homework task or test, they also need to copy those markings! We all have enough to worry about with the assignment itself and we don't need any more obstacles. The gadgets I made work with Sharpies and Expo What-Board markers for a few reason, they are sold all around the world and have a very consistent structure.

But to be honest even as a student with a white-board in his room, I could still use those gadgets with home work, planning my next project and drawing!

Before I begin here's a little information about myself:
I am a student in Israel Ra'anana at the age of 15. I use Inventor and Cura to design and print. I've been into designing for about a year now and I now do it as a class in school 2 years ahead of time. I am rather new to the printing part and you can see it did not print as perfect as I'd want it to be.

A tune box (music box) I designed & Printed, it consists of 3 parts:

The handle
The base
a wheel
The wheel is divided into 8 sections in which one is missing in order to Play the music right.

On the base are mounted 3 stripes at the thickness of 2, 3 and 4 mm, with each plaing a diffarent note.

Connecting the handle is done with friction using an extending hexagon on the handle and an inword going hexagon (slightly larger) in the wheel itself.

Although the original device is made on metal, building it out of pure platic did produce a sound, yet not as "clean".

The base and the wheel both have a hole in them so it is easy and clear how to put it together :)
