We saw MHypothetical's Dovahkiin Helmet and thought that it would look good printed full size. We had to separate the horns from the rest of the helmet and scale/rotate it a bit to get it to fit in the build volume of our Z18 printer. The helmet was a 150 hour print and the horns took 10 hours. We filmed a timelapse so you can check out the full print in just under two minutes!

Last week we published a Soldier: 76 helmet that had some embedded electronics. Rather than have removable batteries, we opted to build in a wireless charging set!

These dice are inspired by Magic: the Gathering hedrons. They are spin down and were designed to be used as counters. There are two models, one for the 1's place and one for 10's. Print a set out!

Make the most of your dual extrusion machine with this quick add on. Printing with two colors can often lead to issues with ooze bleeding color between your parts. This wiper will allow you to use Simplify3D or another custom G-gcode to cool your inactive nozzle and wipe it clean between tool changes.

Print the part out and insert a rubber strip into the groove. Clamp the wiper to the left-front corner of your printer so that it wont interfere with the bed but will make good contact with both nozzles.

Download simplify3D and load the FFF profiles. Slice your part and print!

Keep your valuables and secrets safe by hiding them in plain sight. This Model prints easily in only 3 pieces and looks quite convincing. The safe is held shut with friction and opens with the pull on the book mark ribbon. Assembly is a snap and only requires a rubber band, a ribbon, and super glue.

We needed a good coat rack for the office, so we made one! This simple coat rack is plenty sturdy enough for even a heavy winter coat, and is easy to print.

The Dragon Curve is the visual representation of what a profile view of a piece of paper that is folded in halve over and over again. Check out the videos below to learn more! A Numberphile video showed a mathematician who made some custom tiles to display the curve on his wall which inspired our Thingiverse Thursday design.

The design uses only 3 models: An end piece, a single piece, and a double piece. Together you can carefully arrange them into the Dragon curve of any order of magnitude. We did order 9 (if you folded a peice of paper 9 times) for our mural. Check out the result!

There is a GIF floating around of a wood puzzle that is extremely dissatisfying. The model assembles and looks like it should make a nice ring however it will always be slightly askew. Print one out and trigger some emotional responses from those around you.

Deck boxes are awesome. But lets face it, a separate box for each deck is just not practical. Most players keep cards in old fat pack boxes or other cardboard solutions and we thought we might improve upon that idea. Meet the Deck Carrier.

This model is designed to hold 3 Sleeved Commander/EDH decks. Each deck is bound together in a removable card stack that can be used as a dealer shoe. This design is meant to allow you to keep the box in your bag and pull the drawer out for deck selection.

Removing the shell from our "Spool Snail" model instantly turns it into a slug. We printed ours with Ninjaflex filament to make it squishy!

Print this life counter on your two color printer or print in a single color and color the numbers with a permanent marker.

UPDATE:

Several users have pointed out that the numbers and dials don't line up in the separated models. These files have been updated to correct this. Makerware might try and automatically put the part on the buildplate as the numbers are "floating". If it does this automatically, just go to the position tab and press reset position button.

Use this non traditional turn table to hold your filament while printing. The objects of constant width allow the filament roll to turn freely as if it were supported by ball bearings.

This snail-shaped spool holder uses the spool as the snail's shell and allows you to thread the filament out of its back like a slime trail. The holder is designed for 4 cm wide spools and there are two models corresponding to spool diameters of 15 or 25 cm.

This sliding storage system prints fully assembled with built-in supports. The model features a carrying handle for transportation when it is in its closed position.

DISCLAIMER: This model includes tight tolerances and moving parts. Make sure that you printer is well calibrated before attempting to print. There is a part file included called tolerance test which allows you to test if the model will print on your printer without fusing.

This model just won't stay down! The top is hollow and light, but the bottom is heavy enough to make sure that the egg will always return to its upright position.

Print this egg at 85% - 100% infill, without supports. This model works best with a .4mm nozzle.
