As requested, these are similar to my Wu Ying sandals but without the drawer. I printed these with wood filament and then sanded and finished them. Pictures of that are here: http://imgur.com/a/uAFjf

They are certainly wearable- at least as much as any store bought sandals the same height. Short video of them being worn here: http://sendvid.com/jkiis66m

You can edit the file on TinkerCad here: https://tinkercad.com/things/gU8pC4ZNky4
Remember to “ungroup" the strap-holes before you resize it. Also by scaling on the Z axis alone you can lower them to a height you are comfortable with. After you are happy with the changes use the "Mirror" function to make the left shoe.

Wood filament .3 layer height, 20% infill but I would suggest .2 since it took forever to sand.

Sanded with 180, 240, 320, 400 and 600 grit sandpaper. Then finished. Two coats. Three would probably be better.

wow i didnt expect girls do 3D printing but im proud to see that , salute

I know there was good intention here, but women do 3D printing all the time. 3D printing isn't exactly a staple in the illusion of masculinity.

Cool but man those look highly uncomfortable

Hi, thank you for the nice model. I would like to print a pair, what will be the shoe size if I print without rescaling?

What thickness on the top, bottom and side walls did you use?

I've never seen a wood filament print before, but it looks REALLY nice, and glossy. Can the wood be used on any printer? What printer did you use?

Cool heels, I'll try to make a pair for my gal.

May I suggest allowing for customization for shoe size. Not all women have size 8 feet. lol

That sendvid link popped a popunder Chrome flagged as malware. One of those never-ending alert/confirm pages warning of my PC being packed with viruses. While the shoes are cool.... this isn't.

You talk of chinese food filament, any (taobao?) link? Is it made by ESUN? Also, any link for the soles?

Wood filament? What did you print this on?

Good Job!

You got a great finish on the wood material: a very smooth and shiny surface like that takes a lot of work and patience.

Is the wood material easier to sand than PLA? I often use a wood filler to fill and smooth the layers on PLA prints, but that looks like it was easier to finish than just PLA would be. If that is easier to print and finish, I may switch to that for props and other painted bits.

very sexy and shows what a 3d printer can really do

You go girl, Good Job.

Like the lady says, consults your significant others when adjusting the model for print or making your own.I am still more of the fan with the tech ones you made LadyCyborg, love the "Get Smart" gadgets and hidden drawer, but is nice to have a basic model. Thanks for the upload :), already working with my girlfriend on making a pair for her.
