What wood filament did you use? Look incredible.

I love your idea AND the design.
But could you make the walls thinner? Id like to scale it up and then it ways to thick.

How did you make (color) the indicator?

it was painted using acrylic colour and brush, however you can manage to print it from one filament, than pause and change to another, e.g. Zortrax printers allows that.

What's the orange granules in the last photo?

Are they silica gel? DO you recommend them being fitted below the soil when used as a planter?

many thanks for sharing

Hello Landies. Yes, I recommend to add decent layer of some soft gravel, it makes special layer between soil and water, where roots can grow at start and has access to the water and air. While soil is in this case a fertilizer. Same way it's done in case of self watering pods from Lechuza.

p.s.: the orange granules are made from glass. I've purchased them in decoration shop as they did not have the soft gravel that time.

I realy like the design but i dont understand how the parts are suposed to fit together. It would be nice if You could ad some instructions.

just printed this watering pot, and it looks really nice.

But I have some leakage problems, my pot isn't tight. When I put water in it, it seems tight, but after few hours a small puddle appairs under it.

Printed in Wood-PLA with:
-height 0.2mm
-2 walls
-30mm/s wall speed
-60mm/s infill speed
-20% infill

Do you have some advice to make it tight? (new part to print or adding spray or resin)

do you know how many grams this is?

Oh no! I was printing this awesome pot... but after 9 hours of hard work, my printer decided to move the piece and I had to stop the process... Now I have an unfinished prism. I decided to take some measurments and design the missing part in CATIA and print it apart to glue it. :(

the penta shape at self printed without supports, only the insight parts need supports

The inner platform doesn't need any supports. The little tube may need some inside the hinge. I added supports just there but they were too strong and the hinge broke...

does this need supports at all?

The green-yellow-red think is water level indicator, it is falling from green to red as flower drinks water.

I don't get it. Needs more pictures or at least some instructions.

I like your item, What is the green-yellow-red-green stuff in the small pipe
