Break off your exposed Hella switch? Sand it flat and replace it with a Melonswitch.
Using a 1/2"-20 screw and 1/2"-20 nut with a 3D printed adapter, this turns your broken Hella switch into a twist-to-close switch with more sensitivity and staying power. And it's even hella flush.
Press 1/2"-20 jam nut (thin hex nut) into bottom side.
Screw in your choice of screw - I used a set screw, but you can use a headed screw.
Once you hit resistance turning the screw, the switch is closed. Release a half-turn or more to power off.
Mounts through Hella switch original base and a 1/4" thick panel using a 1" long #10-24 or #10-32 socket-head screw. This leaves 1/4" left for a nut and washer.
