What density do you recommend it to be printed?

I've had it printed by printing companies, so I'm not entirely sure. I'd say as dense as possible, as boomerangs like this one usually made from injection-molded material (i.e., at 100% density).

This was a first try. Meanwhile, my 3d modeling has improved and I recommend making http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:107862 instead.

Tri-Bladed Boomerang

this is so cool, check out the one i made in gold PLA, i managed to catch it on vid and have never thrown one before today,me and my son had a great time with it, the other one i printed http://www.thingiverse.com/make:40658http://www.thingiverse.com/mak... is still up a tree :)
this one is easier to throw or it was fro me anyway.
good work and thanks

mouserunner, thanks for taking the time and posting your video of this boomerang at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38K8bOXgk2Mhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v... !

Technically a weapon, but then so is a potato.

Looks like fun. :)

Right... and most potatoes will be heavier than 30 cubic centimeters of ABS O:-)

Yes it does! I'd say it's about comparable with similar tri-blade boomerangs (e.g. Darnell Trifly).
