Thanks for such an excellent model! Printing my first one and it is coming out amazingly. ^^ Just enable support material and cad to make a custom slice - this is one big blade! Comes out to about 17" overall, which is typical of 'big' bushcraft knives.

So just an update. I did print out 2 of these guys and was assembling them with Scigrip #4. I found that the handle and the bottom blade piece just didn't have enough surface area with how I printed it out to keep together solidly enough. I drilled and pinned the joint using two pieces of filament and that seems to be holding up a lot better. Just a cautionary tale to watch your join areas when splitting.

Thanks for the model, it looks great!

@TaraPike, I'm currently printing this out at 20% fill on my new Cetus and it estimated roughly 56g of filament for a single knife at the same scaling. I have a 180x180x180mm print area so I had to slice this into 3 segments for printing.

Had a filament feed issue on my first run (heyo noobie printer) but I'm excited to see the output. Will post once I've got it printed.

I use 1kg Spool (2.2 lbs) - Estimate - How much Filament would a single knife take? Or how many could be made with 1kg Spool (2.2 lbs)?

For me, i have tried printing a hunters knife on here before.. the printer seems to have trouble with the hook part at the top of the blade. I will give it a second go though as part of the blade moved up towards the end and screwed up the print hahaha.

YOU THE BEST!!!! Thanks.
